NJ.com: Lawmaker Accuses Sewer Authority of Misusing Funds for Holiday Parties, Functions

The RVSA services towns throughout the area, including Scotch Plains.

Assembly Republican Leader Alex DeCroce is accusing the Rahway Valley Sewer Authority of spending excessively and misusing public funds on parties and conferences.

DeCroce obtained copies of the authority's vouchers from such functions through the Open Public Records Act. Among the vouchers was a $3,213 bill from the authority's Christmas party last year, which included lobster tails and veal marsala.
