Emmanuel Cancer Foundation Seeks Community's Help in Winning Grant

The challenge is sponsored by the company Liquidnet.

The Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit based in Scotch Plains that serves families who have children with cancer, is looking for the community's help in winning money to help with its cause.

The foundation is competing in the Liquidnet for Good Local Impact Challenge, which is designed to support organizations in the New York City area that are strengthening the local community, all while encouraging nonprofits to use social media to engage their supporters.

Liquidnet, the global institutional marketplace, will award a total of $150,000 in grants to 10 New York City area nonprofits. The grants will range from $10,000 to $35,000 for each winning nonprofit organization.
